The XW-800 transformer low voltage short-circuit impedance tester is mainly suitable for low voltage short-circuit impedance testing of power transformers (single-phase or three-phase) during factory, major maintenance, pre testing, and handover testing.

The principle is to conduct short-circuit impedance testing on the power transformer on site and compare it with the nameplate value or factory value, which can detect winding displacement, deformation and other problems caused by serious fault currents during transportation, installation and operation after the factory test.
